DESCRIPTION:In 2026 we will offer ‘Officer Training’ to our ‘newly’
  elected AND veteran officers and volunteers\; as well as any IEEE member\
 , at any grade level or position. Our wish is to help all gain a fuller aw
 areness of the communication and management skills used within the IEEE\, 
 how they function and how to employ them both as IEEE officers\, and in yo
 ur everyday work and life.\n\nClasses:\n\nAs an introduction to these skil
 ls\, we will offer a sequence set of VIRTUAL classes supported by study ma
 terials available through the [Southeastern Michigan Section website](http
 s://r4.ieee.org/sem/) and the [IEEE Center for Leadership Excellence.](htt
 ps://ieee.learningpool.com/) The virtual classes will begin in the 2nd wee
 k of JANUARY 2026 and conclude end of FEBRUARY. Each class will be conduct
 ed as an overview of the topic ‘de jour’ and a discussion or Q&amp;A sessi
