DESCRIPTION:Abstract:\nThis seminar will present a vision for “human-in-t
 he-loop” precision medicine enabled\nby emerging wearable\, nearable\, a
nd ingestible bioelectronics. The talk will highlight\nthread-based diagno
 stic platforms—including sweat-sensing bandages\, saliva-sensing\nfloss\
, and smart sutures for monitoring wound healing—that integrate seamless
ly with the\nbody and daily routine for continuous biochemical and physiol
ogical sensing.\nThe seminar will also cover advances in microneedle syste
ms for controlled drug delivery\nof multiple drugs with different dose rat
es\, and for minimally invasive sampling of\ninterstitial fluid for biosen
sing. In the ingestible domain\, the talk will introduce\nswallowable caps
ules for gastrointestinal sensing and spatially resolved sampling of the\n
gut microbiome\, offering new insight into host–microbe interactions bey
ond what fecal\ntesting can provide.\nTogether\, these technologies point
 toward a future of personalized\, real-time health\nmonitoring and interve
ntion\, reshaping how we detect disease and manage care.\n\nSpeaker(s): Dr
