 ronics–based control. The presentation also highlights recent advancemen
 ts in STATCOM technology\, including the integration of energy storage and
  grid-forming capabilities\, and discusses their role in enhancing overall
  power system performance and stability.\n\nSpeaker Bio:\n\nBinit Patel is
  a Senior Systems Engineer at Mitsubishi Electric Power Products Inc. (MEP
 PI)\, a role he has held since 2024. At MEPPI\, he primarily focuses on th
 e design and application of STATCOMs. Prior to joining MEPPI\, Binit was a
  Lead Project Engineer at General Electric (GE)\, where he specialized in 
 Fixed Series Capacitor projects. He holds a Master’s degree from Purdue
