DESCRIPTION:TOPIC : From Data to the Intelligent Economy: Frontiers in Mult
i-Source and Streaming Data Trading\n\nSPEAKER : Prof Jianwei Huang (Presi
dential Chair Professor and Associate Vice President at the Chinese Univer
 sity of Hong Kong\, Shenzhen.)\n\nDATE : Friday\, 23 January 2026\n\nTIME
 : 10:30AM-11:30AM\n\nVENUE : E7-03-09 (Seminar Room 4)\n\nHost: Prof Zhang
Rui\n\nABSTRACT\nAgainst the backdrop of rapid development in artificial
intelligence and the digital economy\, data is gradually becoming a\ncore
production factor alongside capital and labor. How to achieve effective co
llaboration in multi-source data\nenvironments and how to realize real-tim
e transactions in streaming scenarios constitute key challenges in data ma
rket\nresearch. This talk will systematically introduce the latest advance
s in multi-source data cooperation and streaming data\ntrading\, with a fo
cus on exploring data pricing and revenue allocation mechanisms\, optimiza
tion and computational\nsharing methods for continuous queries\, and onlin
e scheduling algorithms under uncertain environments. The related\nresearc
h provides new theoretical frameworks for understanding the operational pr
inciples of data markets.\n\nBIOGRAPHY\nJianwei Huang is a Presidential Ch
air Professor and Associate Vice President at the Chinese University of Ho
ng Kong\,\nShenzhen. He has served as the Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transact
ions on Network Science and Engineering and is the\nChair of the IEEE Koji
Kobayashi Award Committee. He has been an IEEE Fellow\, an IEEE ComSoc Di
stinguished\nLecturer\, and a Clarivate Web of Science Highly Cited Resear
cher. His research focuses on network economics\, network\noptimization\,
 and crowd intelligence.\n\nBldg: NTU\, E7-03-09 (Seminar Room 4)\, Singapo
