  time. One of these is crypto currency. Recently ATM type devices have bee
 n installed that will transform cash into crypto currency. Recently scam a
 rtists\, often criminal gangs operating at scale on a global basis\, have 
 started to use these to obtain money from their 'marks'.\n\nWe will look a
 t the basic concept of blockchain and why this provides a secure form of t
 ransactions and data retention. The application to crypto currency\, and r
 elated\, but significantly different application to meme coins and other d
 igital objects will be considered. Finally the abuse of these to support i
