DESCRIPTION:The IEEE AESS Jordan Section Chapter was proudly represented du
ring IEEE Day at Philadelphia University\, where the chapter delivered an
in-depth introduction to the Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society\, hi
ghlighting its mission\, objectives\, and the professional and academic op
portunities it offers to students and institutions. This engagement aimed
to expand awareness of AESS and promote its role in advancing aerospace an
d electronic systems education across Jordanian universities.\n\nDuring th
e event\, the chapter operated an official AESS booth that showcased selec
ted student projects from universities hosting AESS activities. The booth
served as a focal point for discussion\, knowledge exchange\, and direct e
ngagement with students\, faculty members\, and university leadership\, de
monstrating the practical and academic impact of AESS initiatives.\n\nThe
Vice President of Philadelphia University expressed strong interest in the
concept and positively received the AESS vision. As a result of this enga
gement\, the President of the IEEE Student Branch at the university was en
couraged to initiate formal procedures to establish an official IEEE AESS
Student Branch Chapter in the near future.\n\nAdditionally\, students from
several other universities attended the session and actively participated
in discussions about AESS\, including students from Amman Al-Ahliyya Univ
ersity. Their enthusiasm and expressed interest in launching a future AESS
chapter further reflected the effectiveness of this outreach activity in
expanding the society’s presence beyond a single institution.\n\nThis pa
rticipation significantly contributed to strengthening inter-university co
llaboration\, increasing national awareness of AESS\, and supporting the g
rowth of new chapters. The activity aligned strongly with the IEEE AESS ob
jective of expanding its global and regional footprint while empowering st
udents to engage in aerospace and electronic systems communities.\n\nAMMAN
