DESCRIPTION:2 focus groups will run on the 16th of April\n\nSynthetic Apert
ure Radar\n\nSynthetic Aperture Radar is thriving\, with new platforms\, t
echniques and products across civil\, defence and security applications. T
he UK has a breadth of expertise across government\, industry and academia
helping to push SAR into new and exciting areas. It is within this contex
t that the EMSIG SAR Focus Group was established bringing together the com
munity from across the UK. Anything that is related to SAR is relevant –
from hardware to software\, from processing to exploitation\, and from ou
ter space to inner body.\n\nRadar for Space\n\nRadar for Space encompasses
all uses of radar relevant to space\, including (i) space situational awa
 reness\, considering both ground-based and space-based radar sensors\, and
(ii) earth observation using space-based radar. We also welcome works on
use of complementary sensing technologies\, specifically active\, capable
of fusion with radar\, for enhanced SDA/SSA\, as well as AI-based approach
es to image processing\, such as segmentation and classification.\n\nBldg:
