 zed a two-day hands-on workshop\, “Optimizing Industrial Process: A Hand
 s-on PLC Workshop\,” for III-year students. The workshop was held on 30t
 h &amp; 31st January for C Section from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.\n\nSpeaker(s): Dr.
  Trived Balivada\, \n\nAgenda: \nOn Day 1\, participants were introduced t
 o the fundamentals of industrial automation and Programmable Logic Control
 lers (PLCs). The session covered PLC architecture\, hardware components\, 
 input-output modules\, and industrial wiring practices along with safety g
 uidelines. Participants gained hands-on experience in connecting sensors\,
  actuators\, and control devices to PLC systems.\n\nBasic ladder logic pro
 gramming was explained\, including contacts\, coils\, and logical operatio
 ns. Practical exercises helped participants understand motor control\, sig
 nal processing\, and simple automation tasks. The use of timers\, counters
 \, and basic instructions was demonstrated through real-time examples.\n\n
 By the end of Day 1\, participants developed a clear understanding of PLC 
 hardware\, wiring\, and basic programming skills required to design and im
 plement simple industrial automation systems.\n\nOn Day 2\, the focus was 
 on advanced PLC programming and industrial process optimization. Participa
 nts learned sequential control\, interlocking systems\, and advanced ladde
 r logic techniques. HMI integration and basic industrial communication con
 cepts were introduced for effective system monitoring.\n\nHands-on project
 s based on real industrial scenarios enabled participants to design comple
 te automation solutions. The session also included troubleshooting methods
