DESCRIPTION:On 11 April 2025\, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm\, the IEEE Women in
  Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group will host a Professional Mentorship &amp; Ne
 tworking Mixer for Women in Engineering at FUTMINNA. The event will bring 
 together female engineering students and early‑career engineers with inv
 ited industry and academic professionals for an engaging morning of mentor
 ship\, open conversation\, and networking. Participants will hear an inspi
 rational talk from a woman engineer sharing her career journey\, challenge
 s\, and lessons learned\, followed by rotating small‑group mentoring dis
 cussions on topics such as entering the workforce\, leadership and confide
 nce\, work–life balance\, and navigating bias in STEM fields. The mixer 
 format will allow attendees to interact with multiple mentors\, ask questi
 ons in a relaxed setting\, and start building long‑term professional con
 nections and potential mentoring relationships\, in line with IEEE mentori
 ng best practices. Light refreshments will be provided\, and all genders a
 re welcome to attend\, with a special focus on supporting and empowering w
 omen in engineering within our Section and university community.\n\nAgenda
