DESCRIPTION:[]\n\nSpeaker: Chad Kidder\, Americas EDA Services Manager\, Ke
ysight Technologies\n\nTopic: Worried about AI? That’s so 80’s\n\nAbst
ract:\nDoes AI keep you up at night? Do you wonder what your career will l
ook like after it gets an extreme makeover by AI? If so\, come join us to
hear how the adoption of high-end simulation software transformed the fiel
d of RF and microwave design in the 1980’s and 1990’s. We will explore
the strong parallels between that technological shift and today’s rapid
adoption of AI in engineering and research roles. By reflecting on past d
isruptions and successes\, we will discuss how professionals can adapt\, l
everage new tools\, and stay relevant. Together\, we will rub our crystal
ball to uncover practical strategies for making the most of AI and positio
ning ourselves to succeed now and well into the future.\n\nBio:\nChad Kidd
er received his BS and MS in electrical engineering from Texas A&M. He is
a licensed professional engineer in Texas. Since his graduation he has wor
ked for large and small businesses\, a university and consulted. His work
has been primarily in microwaves\, radar phased arrays\, and embedded syst
ems. He currently works at Keysight Technologies as the Americas EDA Servi

Conference Committee Chair\, as the Region 6 (Western USA) Chapter Coordi
