 ork designs are increasingly challenged by rising edge power demands\, hig
 her bandwidth requirements\, and growing operational costs. It will introd
 uce a distributed edge architecture that integrates fiber-to-the-edge\, fa
 ult-managed DC power\, and centralized control. Key topics include deliver
 ing sustained 10G performance at the edge\, supporting Wi-Fi 6/7\, edge co
 mpute\, and IoT workloads\, reducing reliance on traditional IDF rooms and
  line-voltage electrical infrastructure\, and lowering both CAPEX and OPEX
  by powering and operating additional devices on fault-managed networks.\n
 \nBeyond traditional data transport\, the fault-managed network architectu
 re enables power and connectivity for devices historically served by line-
 voltage systems\, including lighting\, lighting controls\, security system
 s\, and USB power outlets.\n\nThe discussion will also address how fault-m
 anaged power and fiber-based infrastructure simplify future upgrades\, imp
