High school girls\, in particular\, face additio nal barriers in accessing opportunities that encourage participation in em erging technology fields.\n- Project Description\nInnovateHer is a capaci ty-building initiative designed to train high school girls aged 11 to 17 i n the fundamentals of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Python programming. The programme targets selected schools in the Mannar\, Madhu\, and Mullai tivu districts\, where students have limited access to hands-on IoT practi cal sessions and where there is a shortage of trained teaching staff for P ython programming.\nExposure to IoT and Python at an early stage is essent ial to spark interest and motivation in STEM-related fields\, develop prob lem-solving skills\, and build a strong foundation for future learning.
