The goal of a senior capstone project is to foster critical thin king and allows a student to demonstrate career readiness by developing an d applying a methodology to solving a problem and then documenting that wo rk. It is truly a culmination of a long 4+ year academic journey.\n\nThe I EEE Susquehanna Section has established an annual Engineering Capstone Awa rd to recognize the best undergraduate capstone project within the Section ’s geographic area. Each academic institution in our area nominates what they consider to be their best capstone project of that year. Each capsto ne project is then blindly judged by a panel within our Section. A $750 aw ard is then presented to the winning project to share among its contributo rs and each contributor receives an IEEE certificate of recognition and a plaque.
