 Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) Metro Integrated Co
 mmand Center (MICC) in Washington\, DC. This immersive experience will giv
 e students a firsthand look at how Metro manages real-time rail operations
 \, safety coordination\, and system-wide decision-making for one of the na
 tion’s busiest public transit networks. The visit includes a guided tour
  of the MICC\, where participants will learn how train movements are monit
 ored and coordinated across the region. Following the tour\, two young Met
 ro professionals will share insights into their roles\, career paths\, and
  the technical and operational challenges of running a major metropolitan 
 transit system\, followed by a Q&amp;A session with GWU students. This event i
 s a unique opportunity to explore careers in transportation\, engineering\
 , and public infrastructure while gaining a deeper understanding of the sy
