 ano:\nRosa Serrano is an energy regulation and power systems expert with o
 ver 20 years of experience in the electricity sector. She holds a PhD in E
 lectrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Manchester (20
 24)\, where her research focused on enhancing power system resilience agai
 nst wildfires. She also earned an MSc in Engineering and an Industrial Civ
 il Engineering degree with a diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Po
 ntificia Universidad Católica de Chile\, and completed further studies at
  the Florence School of Regulation.\n\nRosa has held senior roles in both 
 the public and private sectors in Chile\, including positions at the Natio
 nal Energy Commission\, the Ministry of Energy\, Synex Consultores\, and E
 mpresas Eléctricas A.G. She currently serves as an Associate Consultant a
 t GME.\n\nShe is actively involved in IEEE and serves as Secretary of IEEE
  PES UK &amp; Ireland.\n\nBiography of Dr Nur Sarma:\n\nDr Nur Sarma is an Ass
 istant Professor in Engineering at Durham University\, UK. Dr Sarma’s ex
 pertise and research focus on the modelling and analysis of electric machi
 nes\, power systems\, renewable energy technologies\, as well as the condi
 tion monitoring and fault detection of energy conversion systems. She also
  holds significant leadership roles in Equality\, Diversity and Inclusion 
 (EDI)\, currently serving as EDI and Wellbeing Director in her department.
  Dr Sarma is actively involved in international professional networks\, in
 cluding IEEE Women in Power\, and is passionate about mentoring and inspir
 ing the next generation of engineers\, particularly women in energy and po
