DESCRIPTION:Innovate 4 Impact is a national-level social impact innovation
challenge organized by the IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group\
, Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering\, Pune.\n\nThe event aims to e
ncourage participants to apply engineering knowledge to solve real-world c
hallenges through a combination of interactive activities\, including a ra
pid problem-solving challenge and a technical innovation sprint. Participa
nts will work in teams to analyze problem statements related to societal n
eeds such as Healthcare\, Wellbeing & Accessibility\, Women’s Safety & E
mpowerment\, Industry\, Smart Technology & Innovation.and present their in
novative solutions within a limited time frame.\n\nThis initiative is desi
gned to foster creativity\, teamwork\, and critical thinking while empower
ing students—especially women in engineering—to actively engage in tec
hnology-driven problem-solving. The event will also provide a platform for
participants to enhance their presentation and communication skills in a
competitive yet collaborative environment.\n\nThe hackathon will be conduc
ted in three stages. The first stage will focus on idea submission and pro
blem statement selection. In the second stage\, shortlisted teams will par
ticipate in guided mentoring and solution development sessions. The final
stage will include prototype demonstration\, idea pitching\, and evaluatio
n by expert judges based on innovation\, feasibility\, technical implement
ation\, and societal impact.\n\nThe event aligns with the mission of IEEE
Women in Engineering (WIE) to inspire\, engage\, empower\, and advance wom
en in engineering\, technology\, leadership\, and innovation through inclu
sive and impactful technical initiatives.\n\nParticipants will gain valuab
le exposure to real-world challenges\, develop practical skills\, and cont
ribute ideas that can create meaningful societal impact.\n\nEvent Timeline
