EE Switzerland Section.\n\nIt is designed for students who want to practis
e venture creation by turning a real opportunity into a structured\, inves
tor ready proposal.\n\nThis is not a generic ideation workshop.\n\nPartici
pants start from structured opportunities grounded in market demand and fo

 and credible pitch.\n\nINPUTS PROVIDED\n\nFor curated plots\, participant
s receive:\n\n- market context and size estimates\n- defined problem or in
novation challenge\n- value proposition framing\n- venture and revenue mod
el direction\n- structured tools such as checklists\, templates\, and AI p
rompts\n\nTeams use search and AI tools to validate assumptions and build
a compact evidence base. Key claims must be supported by references or cle
arly marked as assumptions.\n\nBRINGING YOUR OWN IDEA\n\nTeams bringing th
eir own idea must provide:\n\n- problem definition\n- proposed solution\n-
target customers\n- at least three competitors\n- market size indicators\
n- differentiation logic\n- preliminary revenue model\n- team credibility\
n- initial go to market approach\n\nThe goal is a clear narrative built on

Co-sponsored by: Dr. Luca Dalessandro (ETIX Ventures)\n\nAgenda: \nAgenda
and format for the Enrollment and Framing step\n\nThe RRH consists of two
steps:\n\nStep 1 — Enrollment and Framing (mandatory online briefing)\nS
tep 2 — Hackathon Day (in-person venture sprint)\n\nStep 1 is designed t
o be practical and focused. Its purpose is to align on scope\, confirm plo
t selection\, and prepare you to move efficiently during the hackathon.\n\
nStep 1 — Individual 30-minute briefing call (mandatory)\n\nEach team mu
st complete a 30-minute online call with the organiser before Hackathon Da
y.\n\nTo book your call\, write to:\ndalessandro@IEEE.org\n\nCalls can be
scheduled until the end of March.\nIf you would like to join the call with
another team member\, this is encouraged.\n\nCompleting this call counts
as Step 1 and is required to access Step 2.\n\nWhat we cover in Step 1\n\n
— clarification of purpose and expectations\n— confirmation of partici
pation path (curated plot\, own idea\, or instructor co-creation)\n— ove
rview of the 8-sprint structure and 15 key venture concepts\n— explanati
on of deliverables and evaluation logic\n— alignment on preparation befo
re Hackathon Day\n\nWhat you receive in Step 1\n\n— selected plot materi
als (where applicable)\n— working templates (venture brief\, sprint stru
cture\, validation checklist)\n— guidance on structured reasoning\, vali
dation\, and use of AI tools\n\nStep 2 — Hackathon Day\n\nThe hackathon
runs in 8 time-boxed sprints covering 15 key venture concepts.\n\nWhat you
 will produce\n\n— a structured 1-page venture brief\n— a pitch deck (
7-slide recommended format)\n— supporting tables (market sizing\, compet
itors\, pricing logic)\n— one validation attempt (real outreach or equiv
alent)\n— a short pitch script and Q&A preparation\n\nTemplates and stru
ctured guidance are provided.\n\nConfidentiality and commitment\n\nPartici
pation in RRH implies a clear commitment.\n\nThe venture concepts develope
d during the initiative represent business opportunities and potential val
ue creation. They are intended to be developed within the scope of the RRH
and by the participating teams.\n\nBy participating\, you agree that orga
niser-provided materials\, structured plots\, and methodological framework
s are used exclusively for the RRH process and for the continuation of you
r team’s work within this context.\n\nUse of these materials for other e
xternal purposes\, redistribution\, or independent commercial exploitation
outside the initiative is not permitted.\n\nThis policy exists to protect
the integrity of the work\, the value created during the hackathon\, and
the entrepreneurial opportunities generated within this framework.\n\nRRH
is built on trust\, professional responsibility\, and respect for the effo
rt invested in creating these opportunities.\n\nT.B.D. Technopark Zurich o
