DESCRIPTION:Scientific research and innovation play a vital role in the dev
elopment of nations. In Burkina Faso\, national development policies place
strong emphasis on the promotion of research and innovation as key driver
s for generating endogenous solutions and addressing local challenges affe
cting communities. In this regard\, doctoral schools have been established
in universities across a wide range of disciplines\, including exact scie
 nces\, social sciences\, law\, economics\, and health sciences. Promoting
research and innovation also requires the effective dissemination of resea
rch findings to the global scientific community through publications in pe
 er-reviewed journals\, oral communications\, and poster presentations at n
ational and international conferences.\n\nHowever\, scientific publication
s in high-impact conferences and journals are still largely dominated by m
ajor universities in developed countries\, large technology corporations\,
and senior researchers. Contributions from young researchers\, particular
ly doctoral students and early-career professionals\, remain limited. In t
he specific context of international conferences organized under the auspi
ces of the IEEE Burkina Faso Subsection\, many submitted papers address or
iginal and highly relevant topics\, yet a significant number do not fully
meet international editorial and scientific writing standards. This situat
ion is especially concerning at a time when some of the most promising inn
ovations are emerging from young researchers working in rapidly evolving a
nd transformative fields.\n\nIn recognition of this challenge\, the IEEE B
urkina Faso Subsection has included a capacity-building program in scienti
fic article writing in its annual activity plan. This initiative is intend
ed for doctoral students from public and private universities in Burkina F
aso\, as well as for researchers and innovation professionals. The program
is being implemented in collaboration with the Doctoral Schools of Scienc
e and Technology of universities in Burkina Faso.\n\nBefore the workshop\,
an introductory presentation will be organized to raise awareness about t
he IEEE\, its fields of activity\, and to encourage wider membership.\n\nC
