 communications\, electromagnetic pulses\, and electromagnetic compatibilit
 y (EMC) testing. The design process encompasses semiconductor device selec
 tion\, amplifier operating modes\, passive components\, and power combinin
 g. Furthermore\, we will present a fundamental understanding of RF enginee
 ring\, illustrating how a simple RF circuit could become a complex challen
 ge during an amplifier design process\, and how to overcome these practica
