DESCRIPTION:It is with great pleasur​​e that we launch of a new biennia
 l ESoA Course series devoted to Near-Field Antenna Systems and Design\, es
 tablished as an Iberian collaboration under the EurAAP Group 14 Andorra\, 
 Portugal and Spain. The 2026 edition will take place in the beautiful city
  of Lisbon\, Portugal\, from 6-10 April 2026.\n\nThe current need for wire
 less systems operating effectively in the near-field region of the radiati
 ng device highlights a significant shift\, both in industry and research. 
 Nearfield (NF) conditions\, where standard far-field approximations might 
 fail to provide accurate results\, demand a specialized approach to the de
 velopment of radiating devices and propagation models. These are essential
  for developing the next generation antennas to meet the stringent require
 ments of near-field environments in many applications. This course will fo
 cus on the fundamentals of NF radiating systems and as well as techniques 
 for analysing\, design\, and modelling antennas for NF systems for communi
