DESCRIPTION:Emerging Real-Time RF/Analog Signal Processing for NextG Wirele
ss Communications\n\nDr. Hanxiang Zhang\n\nA postdoctoral Scholar\n\nDepar
tment of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Florida A&M University\n\n
The emergence of millimeter-wave 5G/NextG technology has driven significan
t interest in real-time analog signal processing\, which offers compelling
 advantages over conventional digital approaches. Unlike digital technique
s that depend on analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) and complex processin
g chains\, analog systems enable analog computing for real-time signal man
ipulation directly in its native waveform\, reducing latency\, lowering po
wer consumption\, and minimizing reliance on high-speed ADCs. At the foref
ront of this paradigm is radio frequency (RF) analog signal processing - a
 method defined by directly manipulating signals in their pristine high-fr
equency waveforms. This approach unlocks critical capabilities for microwa
ve and millimeter-wave applications\, including bandwidth efficiency\, ult
rafast operations\, and seamless integration with high-frequency systems.\
n\nIn this presentation\, our recent work will be discussed about real-tim
e RF/analog signal processing through innovative microwave circuits and sy
stems. It covers multiple applications on wireless high frequency front-en
d modules.\n\n[]\n\nCo-sponsored by: Mobile chapter of IEEE\n\nSpeaker(s):
