 .\n\nWith the 2026 theme “Fly Right”\, this workshop focuses on promot
 ing awareness of drone safety—especially around critical infrastructure 
 such as power lines and substations.\n\nHosted at the University of North 
 Carolina at Charlotte in collaboration with the Electric Power Research In
 stitute (EPRI) and Duke Energy\, this event brings together experts from a
 viation\, utilities\, and public safety to provide both technical knowledg
 e and practical insights.\n\nParticipants will gain understanding of:\n\n-
  FAA regulations and safe drone operating practices\n- Airspace awareness 
 and compliance tools\n- Identification of power grid infrastructure and as
 sociated risks\n- Why flying near electrical equipment can be dangerous\n-
  Pre-flight and post-flight safety procedures\n- Real-world applications o
 f drones in utility operations\n\nA key highlight of the event is an inter
 active panel discussion featuring representatives from the FAA\, utility i
 ndustry\, and Law enforcement. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask 
 questions directly to experts and gain insights into real-world drone oper
 ations and safety challenges.\n\nThe event also includes a live outdoor dr
