 \n\nThis will be the 8th annual SDR University Challenge and it brings tog
 ether the brightest student engineering teams from across the nation. Thes
 e teams have spent the academic year developing cutting-edge solutions to 
 real-world communication challenges using software-defined radio (SDR) tec
 hnology. This event is the culmination of their hard work\, where they wil
 l demonstrate their projects and compete for top honors. 22 university tea
 ms participated this year with the top 8 teams invited to present on the 2
