DESCRIPTION:Troubleshooting is the most valuable skill an engineer can poss
ess. This session was dedicated to mastering the Digital Multimeter (DMM)
and understanding the behavior of active and passive components under powe
r. The instructors introduced capacitors and transistors\, explaining thei
r roles in filtering noise and amplifying signals. The bulk of the worksho
p was spent on diagnostic techniques. Instead of just building working cir
cuits\, students were given intentionally broken circuits and tasked with
finding the fault using their measurement tools.\n\nKey Actionable Outcome
s:\n\n- Equipment Mastery: Trained students on how to accurately measure D
C voltage\, test for continuity\, and measure resistance without damaging
the multimeter's internal fuse.\n- Real-world Troubleshooting: Students pr
acticed finding "open" or "short" circuits on a breadboard. For example\,
testing a faulty push-button switch to determine if the internal mechanica
l contact was broken.\n\nSpeaker(s): Ahmad Yu\, Yazan Alsa'di\, Nawras Bin
