DESCRIPTION:\n\nAgenda: \nThe rapid growth of connected systems such as the
  Internet of Things (IoT)\, smart cities\, intelligent transport\, and dig
 ital healthcare is reshaping the way we live and work. These advances\, ho
 wever\, also bring major challenges around scalability\, energy use\, and 
 long-term sustainability. Artificial intelligence and edge computing are i
 ncreasingly recognized as key technologies to address these challenges by 
 enabling data to be processed closer to where it is generated\, reducing d
 ependence on centralized cloud infrastructure\, and supporting greener and
  more efficient services.\n\nThis full-day summer school will introduce ea
 rly-career researchers to the role of AI and edge computing in building su
 stainable connected systems.\n\nThe program will combine expert keynote le
 ctures\, interactive technical sessions\, and hands-on workshops. Particip
 ants will gain insights into lightweight AI models\, edge–cloud collabor
 ation\, energy-aware system design\, privacy-preserving learning and susta
