DESCRIPTION:The interaction of grounding systems has become increasingly im
portant as the addition of solar and wind power plants and large data cent
ers have become more commonplace. The presentation will discuss the intera
ction between the utility\, collector station\, solar and wind power plant
and data centers. The interaction between the grounding systems requires
coordination between the various owners to provide a safe grounding system
at all locations. There are many variables that influence the interaction
between grounding systems. Examples will be presented that demonstrate ho
w the variables change the interaction between the grounding systems and t
he impact on the safety criteria to meet IEEE-80 Guide for Safety in AC Su
 bstation Grounding requirements.\n\nSpeaker(s): Rich Keil\, \n\nAgenda: \n
