DESCRIPTION:Quantum Computing for Engineers is a practical and accessible i
ntroduction to quantum computing for anyone interested in how this technol
ogy works and where it can be applied. The lecture will cover why quantum
computing matters today\, common myths around the field\, and core concept
s such as superposition\, entanglement\, and interference. Through practic
al examples\, participants will see quantum circuits\, qubit state visuali
zation\, and the Qiskit workflow: from building and optimizing circuits to
running them and analyzing results. The session will also include real-wo
rld industry use cases and the future direction of the technology.\n\nThe
lecture will be delivered by Luka Kaučić\, an Infrastructure Specialist
at IBM\, Qiskit Advocate\, certified IBM Quantum developer\, and soon to b
e IBM Quantum Ambassador. He is actively involved in education\, technolog
 y outreach\, and connecting industry with academia.\n\n28/04/2026 in K1-16
starting 11:30 until 14:45. Feel free to bring your notebooks.\n\nOsijek\
