DESCRIPTION:Join the IEEE Benelux Section Life Members Affinity Group on a 
 visit to Flanders Make @KU Leuven in Heverlee\, Belgium.\n\nFlanders Make 
 https://www.flandersmake.be/en is the strategic research centre for indust
 rial innovation in the mechatronic and manufacturing industry in Flanders.
  It brings together the knowledge and expertise of more than 1\,100 resear
 chers\, working at the five Flemish universities as well as in their facil
 ities for application-oriented research in Kortrijk\, Leuven and Lommel. O
 ur visit will take place at the Flanders Make laboratories located at KU L
 euven where we can be familiarized with their recent activities in the fie
 ld of product design\, system dynamics\, robotics and control and smart ma
 nufacturing.\n\nAfter an introduction to the research centre\, an overview
  will be presented how the various research programs address the evolving 
 industrial challenges\, for example for vehicle electrification\, producti
 on efficiency\, machine diagnostics and autonomous motion. This is then fo
 llowed by a tour in the research laboratories where the ongoing research w
 ill be demonstrated at the hand of concrete test setups.\n\nRegistration\n
