DESCRIPTION:Join us for an exciting student research presentation!\nCome su
pport and learn from students as they share their work\, there will be mul
tiple presentations happening throughout the day.\nSnacks and lunch will b
e provided\, so bring your curiosity (and your appetite)!\nWe’d love to
see you there!\n\n12:00 pm - 12:30 pm | AlgoTrade & XGBoost: Harsh\n12:30
pm - 12:45 pm | AlgoTrade & XGBoost Q&A: Harsh\n12:45 pm - 1:00 pm | Snack
s & Refreshments\n\nAbstract:\n\nStock markets generate enormous amounts o
f data every day\, yet predicting how a stock will move throughout a tradi
ng session remains a difficult problem. This paper presents MarketSight\,
a system that learns from years of historical market data to forecast how
individual stock prices will evolve across an entire trading day — befor
e that day begins. By identifying patterns in past price behavior\, the sy
stem produces a predicted price path for each stock\, giving traders an ea
rly picture of likely intraday movement. The system runs automatically eac
h night\, updating its predictions with the latest available data. Experim
ents across approximately 500 US-listed stocks demonstrate meaningful fore
casting accuracy\, with predictions consistently outperforming naive basel
ines.\n\nSpeaker(s): Dolcy Sareen\, Harsh Saw\n\nRoom: 130\, Bldg: C\, 100
