DESCRIPTION:Interested in learning about the impact of AI across the indust
ry? Join us for a panel led by industry leaders.\n\nIEEE YP is collaborati
ng with IEEE TMU to host a panel of industry experts to provide their insi
ghts regarding AI in the industry.\n\nThis event will be held in the Sears
Atrium in the George Vari Engineering and Computing Centre. Dinner will b
 e provided.\n\n-\n\nSpeakers\n\nGaurav Ranganath\n\nI build AI products fr
om zero to one\n\nI’m a two-time founder and two-time early employee who
likes small teams\, hard problems\, and real ownership. I’ve worked on
model routing and transparency at Martian\, led DeepView\, Stratum AI’s
real-time mining intelligence platform\, and now build AI products at Radi
 cal Ventures.\n\nI co-authored RouterBench\, a benchmark and large-scale d
ataset for evaluating multi-LLM routing systems on cost-quality tradeoffs\
, now cited in over 200 papers on routing and model serving.\n\nI run Vika
 sa\, a non-profit venture advisory for early-stage Canadian founders\, and
mentor at hackathons like MakeUofT and UofTHacks\, where I first learned
how to ship software fast with real constraints.\n\nWhen I’m not doing a

llowed a straight line. After graduating with a history degree\, I eventua
lly returned to school to pursue Human Resources. That decision led to a c
areer in HR spanning systems\, operations\, and generalist roles.\n\nOver
time I realized that helping people grow in their careers was the work tha

place practices\, career development became a central focus of my work.\n\
