DESCRIPTION:As part of the IEEE Women in Engineering Day celebrations 2026\
, the NIE IEEE Student Branch – Women in Engineering is organizing Vigya
an ’26\, a two-day rural outreach initiative scheduled for June 29th and
June 30th\, 2026. The program is designed to introduce school students fr
om rural communities to the world of Science\, Technology\, Engineering\,
and Mathematics (STEM) through interactive\, engaging\, and creative learn
ing experiences. Approximately 70 students are expected to participate in
the initiative.\n\nBuilding upon the success of the previous edition condu
cted in 2025\, Vigyaan ’26 aims to further expand scientific awareness a
nd curiosity among young learners through experiential activities and tech
nology-driven sessions. The outreach initiative focuses on making STEM edu
cation accessible\, enjoyable\, and inspiring for students with limited ex
posure to emerging technologies and innovation-oriented learning environme
 nts.\n\nThe event will feature hands-on STEM activities\, creativity-based
learning modules\, interactive science demonstrations\, and introductory
sessions on emerging technologies and current technological trends. Studen
ts will participate in engaging activities that encourage innovation\, ima
gination\, problem-solving\, and creative thinking while exploring how tec
hnology can be used in meaningful and impactful ways.\n\nIn addition to te
chnical exposure\, the sessions will provide insights into scholarships\,
higher education opportunities\, career pathways in STEM domains\, and the
wide range of opportunities available in rapidly evolving technological f
ields. The initiative aims to motivate students to explore future possibil
ities in science and technology while building confidence\, curiosity\, an
 d aspiration.\n\nThrough Vigyaan ’26\, the NIE IEEE Student Branch – W
omen in Engineering continues its commitment toward community engagement\,
educational outreach\, and empowering the next generation through inclusi
ve and meaningful learning experiences.\n\nBldg: Government Highschool\, 1
