DESCRIPTION:This IEEE TEMS Student Branch Chapter event at Symbiosis Instit
ute of Technology\, Hyderabad is designed as a focused Technology and Engi
neering Management (TEM) workshop aimed at developing leadership\, innovat
ion thinking\, and project management skills among engineering students. T
he activity introduces participants to the fundamentals of engineering man
agement\, including how technical projects are planned\, executed\, and op
timized in real-world industry environments.\n\nThe program will include i
nteractive technical sessions covering topics such as engineering project
lifecycle management\, innovation and technology commercialization\, leade
rship in engineering teams\, and structured decision-making for complex te
chnical systems. A case-study-based learning approach will be used to help
students understand how engineering and management principles are integra
ted in industries such as aerospace\, electronics\, AI systems\, and auton
omous technologies.\n\nParticipants will also engage in a guided innovatio
n challenge where they will analyze a real-world problem and propose a sol
ution by combining technical knowledge with management strategies. This wi
ll encourage critical thinking\, teamwork\, and structured problem-solving
abilities aligned with IEEE TEMS objectives.\n\nThe event will feature ex
pert talks and interactive discussions from industry professionals and aca
demic experts\, providing insights into current trends in engineering mana
gement\, career pathways\, and emerging opportunities in technology-driven
industries. Students will also have opportunities to interact with peers\
, mentors\, and IEEE volunteers to build professional networks.\n\nThe exp
ected outcome of the event is to enhance student awareness of Technology a
nd Engineering Management concepts\, strengthen leadership and organizatio
nal skills\, and promote innovation-driven thinking. The activity will als
o increase IEEE TEMS visibility on campus and encourage students to active
ly participate in future IEEE TEMS initiatives\, workshops\, and global pr
ograms.\n\nOverall\, this initiative aims to develop well-rounded engineer
ing professionals who can effectively combine technical expertise with man
agement and leadership capabilities\, in alignment with the mission of IEE
E TEMS to advance technology management and innovation globally.\n\nCo-spo
