DESCRIPTION:This talk by Prof. Javier Ortega-Garcia will focus on the main
scientific lines developed at BiometricsAI Lab (ex - BiDALab) at Universid
ad Autónoma de Madrid\, with a strong emphasis on biometric technologies\
, trustworthy artificial intelligence\, and human-centered security system
 s. The presented work covers behavioral and visual biometrics\, including
 online handwriting\, keystroke dynamics\, touchscreen interaction\, face r
ecognition\, presentation attack detection\, and synthetic biometric data
generation using deep learning techniques. Special attention will be devot
ed to mobile behavioral biometrics and continuous authentication\, leverag
ing multimodal data captured from smartphones and wearable devices for sec
ure and transparent digital identity verification. The presentation will a
lso address recent advances in biometric security\, deepfake and fraud det
ection\, and privacy-aware AI systems\, together with emerging application
s in digital health\, personalized nutrition\, and neurodegenerative disea
se monitoring through multimodal behavioral analysis. These research lines
  combine fundamental research\, large-scale dataset development\, internat
ional scientific collaboration\, and successful technology transfer to ind
ustry\, contributing to the advancement of robust\, explainable\, and soci
ally responsible biometric intelligence systems.\n\nSpeaker(s): \, Javier
