DESCRIPTION:The South School of Microelectronics (EMicro) and the South Sym
 posium on Microelectronics (SIM) are regional events jointly organized by 
 the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC)\, the Brazilian Microelectronics Soci
 ety (SBMicro)\, and the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society Rio Grande do Su
 l Chapter (IEEE CASS-RS). The events bring together internationally recogn
 ized speakers and serve as an important reference for the microelectronics
  community\, playing a significant role in promoting and disseminating adv
 ances in the field.\n\nEMicro and SIM are primarily aimed at undergraduate
  and graduate students\, as well as faculty members\, from programs in Com
 puter Science\, Informatics\, Electrical Engineering\, Electronics Enginee
 ring\, Computer Engineering\, and related technical courses.\n\nEMicro | S
 IM 2026 will take place at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM)\, 
 Camobi Campus\, in Santa Maria\, Brazil\, from June 8 to 12\, 2026. The pr
 ogram will reflect current topics and interests in circuits and systems\, 
 while providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and research results. Th
