DESCRIPTION:Session 03 — Advanced Robotics & AI Engineering\n\nReady to t
ake engineering to the next level?\n\nAurinkolab Solar Engineering & Robot
ics Camp — Session 03 is an intensive week for young makers aged 10 and
above\, combining advanced robotics\, AI\, Python programming\, and real s
olar engineering. Held in a cosy historic space in Mankkaa\, Espoo\, with
a maximum of 12 participants\, every child gets hands-on time with real to
ols and real challenges.\n\nOn Day 1\, a short placement test helps us for
m balanced groups so each participant is stretched and supported at exactl
y the right level. No prior experience required — just ambition and curi
osity.\n\nSupported by the City of Espoo and EPICS in IEEE.\n\nPROGRAMME\n
\n- Advanced Robotics — Build and program complex robots using professio
nal equipment and safety protocols.\n- Python Programming — Move beyond
the basics and write real code to control robots\, sensors\, and systems.\
n- AI & Computer Vision — Explore artificial intelligence and teach mach
ines to see and recognise the world around them.\n- IoT Basics — Connect
devices and build smart systems using the Internet of Things.\n- Solar Ka
rt Engineering — Design\, build\, and test solar electric go-karts — m
astering speed\, energy\, and sustainable transport.\n- Filming & Animatio
n — Document your projects and create short films showcasing your engine
ering journey.\n- Team Challenges — Collaborate\, compete\, and problem-
solve in exciting group engineering challenges.\n\nIncluded: warm lunch an
d afternoon snacks\, all engineering materials\, safety equipment\, profes
sional instruction\, and camp completion certificate.\n\nMax 12 participan
ts. Dietary accommodations available. Multi-language instruction. STEM pla
cement test on Day 1.\n\nAgenda: \nEach day runs 10:00–17:00 with drop-o
ff from 09:30.\n\nMorning sessions focus on programming\, AI\, or robotics
theory and practice. After lunch and free play\, afternoons are dedicated
to hands-on robot building\, solar kart design\, or IoT projects. A snack
break is followed by team challenges and project work\, wrapping up at 16
:45 with a daily showcase.\n\nThe week culminates in a final project prese
ntation and camp completion ceremony on Friday 1 August.\n\nVanha-Mankaan
