The session was moderated by Ms. Menaka Moona maldeniya\, Lecturer\, SLIIT Kandy UNI\, who guided the proceedings of the workshop.\n\nThe workshop featured Dr. Jayamali De Silva\, Senior Lecture r\, Department of Textile and Apparel Engineering\, University of Moratuwa \, as the resource person. The session attracted more than 100 participant s\, including undergraduate and postgraduate students\, academics\, resear chers\, and professionals from various disciplines.\n\nThe workshop provid ed practical guidance on publishing research in indexed journals\, coverin g key areas such as journal indexing systems\, identifying suitable journa ls\, manuscript preparation and academic writing\, citation and referencin g practices\, the journal submission and peer-review process\, and respond ing effectively to reviewers’ comments.\n\nThe interactive and insightfu l session significantly enhanced participants’ understanding of the acad emic publishing process and strengthened their confidence in preparing and submitting high-quality research manuscripts to reputable indexed journal s.
