Held from Aug ust 15-18\, 2018\, this inaugural edition brought together approximately 4 60 attendees\, including 200 students\, laying a solid foundation for the conference's future development.\n\nBuilding on this success\, the 2nd APC OPTS was held in Singapore in 2020 in an online format\, adapting to globa l circumstances while maintaining the conference's academic momentum.\n\nT he 3rd APCOPTS returned to an in-person format in Busan from August 25-28\ , 2023\, continuing to serve as a key platform for researchers in the regi on.\n\nMost recently\, the 4th APCOPTS was co-organized with the 51st IEEE International Conference on Plasma Science (ICOPS) in Beijing in 2024\, a chieving remarkable scale: it received over 1\,200 paper submissions and w elcomed more than 1081 attendees\, including over 150 experts focused on t erahertz (THz) research.\n\nCo-sponsored by NPSS PSAC and founded by Prof. Verboncoeur\, APCOPTS is an international conference held every two years .
