DESCRIPTION:The Latin American Robotics Symposium (LARS) and the Latin Amer
ican Robotics Competition (LARC) constitute the flagship IEEE Robotics and
Automation Society event in Latin America\, bringing together researchers
 \, students\, industry professionals\, educators\, and technology leaders
from across the region to foster collaboration and advance the state of th
e art in robotics and automation.\n\nThe conference serves as a premier fo
rum for presenting original research\, exchanging technical knowledge\, an
d discussing emerging trends in robotics\, artificial intelligence\, auton
 omous systems\, computer vision\, control systems\, human-robot interactio
 n\, machine learning for robotics\, robot perception\, navigation\, manipu
lation\, multi-robot systems\, and other related areas. Accepted papers ar
e presented through technical sessions\, promoting scientific discussion a
nd collaboration among participants from academia\, industry\, and researc
h institutions.\n\nIn addition to the scientific program\, the event featu
res keynote speeches delivered by internationally recognized experts\, tut
orials\, workshops\, panel discussions\, and networking activities that en
 courage collaboration between universities\, research centers\, startups\,
and industrial partners. These activities provide attendees with opportun
ities to learn about cutting-edge technologies\, establish new collaborati
ons\, and strengthen the robotics ecosystem throughout Latin America.\n\nA
distinctive component of the event is the Latin American Robotics Competi
tion (LARC)\, which complements the symposium by providing students with h
ands-on experience through a series of robotics challenges that promote in
 novation\, teamwork\, engineering design\, and practical problem-solving.
The competition attracts undergraduate and graduate teams from multiple co
untries and serves as an important platform for talent development and kno
 wledge exchange.\n\nSpeaker(s): Nadia\, Rafael\n\nCra. 11 #101-80 Universi
