DESCRIPTION:Career Gateway 1.0 is a flagship career development initiative 
 organized by the IEEE Student Branch University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 
 collaboration with its IEEE chapters and affinity groups. This initiative 
 is designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry by equipping u
 ndergraduates with career guidance\, industry exposure\, networking opport
 unities\, and direct engagement with professionals.\n\nAs the first initia
 tive of its kind by IEEE SB USJ\, Career Gateway 1.0 follows a structured 
 roadmap consisting of career development sessions\, industry field visits\
 , and a final career fair.\n\nAs part of the initiative\, two online caree
 r development sessions have already been successfully conducted\, focusing
  on key areas related to career readiness\, professional growth\, and indu
 stry expectations.\n\nIn addition\, participants were given direct industr
 y exposure through two field visits conducted under Career Gateway 1.0:\n\
 n- DIMO Sri Lanka\n- Sysco LABS Sri Lanka\n\nThese visits provided partici
 pants with valuable insights into corporate culture\, workplace practices\
 , industry operations\, and emerging career opportunities.\n\nThe initiati
 ve will culminate with the Career Fair on 10th July 2026 at the University
  of Sri Jayewardenepura. The career fair will bring together companies\, o
 rganizations\, and students on a common platform for recruitment\, network
 ing\, internships\, and industry engagement.\n\nCareer Gateway 1.0 aims to
  create meaningful opportunities for students to connect with industry pro
