DESCRIPTION:ORBE - Open Robotics for Basic Education is a project that cons
ists in developing some teaching-assistant robotic kits. Right now\, the m
ain kit is a mini-game that teachs trigonometry by having a integrated sys
tem of an ESP-32\, a buzzer\, and two potentiometers. There are many level
s into the game\, that apply some concepts such as sin\, cosin and tangent
. There are sound effects and some imagens on the display. The physical bo
dy of the project was built on 3D printing\, using the software Solid Edge
as the main resource. The project is right now developing it's other kits
\, and will be applied in schools in the next months. There were already s
ome visits from schools to the laboratory where the Chapter resides. For t
he next steps\, there will be some guides on how to use the kits\, so we c
an apply them at schools and search for feedback through some polls applie
d with both students and teachers. ORBE seeks to democratize education\, m
ainly in STEM areas\, making some difficult subjects more understandable a
nd funny for kids and teenagers.\n\nBldg: Lamotriz - 732\, Campus do PICI
