 istorically necessitated divergent methodologies and objective functions\,

 &quot; and &quot;Distributed Energy Resources (DERs)&quot;. This talk introduces RELISILI
 TY\, a concept coined by Alireza Fereidunian to synthesize these objective
 s into a unified\, enterprise-wide planning framework. Subsequently\, seve
 ral realizations of Resiliency concept in energy systems are presented and
  discussed\, which can be generalized to the smart city infrastructure sys
 tems. The empirical findings demonstrate that this unified approach not on
 ly ensures regulatory compliance\, but also enhances community safety and 
 sustainability by providing a reliability backbone reinforced with resilie
 ncy features. The talk provides decision-makers with techno-economic insig
