DESCRIPTION:On Monday\, July 13\, 2026\, the IEEE AIUB Student Branch\, in 
 collaboration with the [IEEE Engineering In Medicine and Biology Society A
 IUB Chapter](https://www.facebook.com/embsaiub) and the IEEE AIUB Student 
 Branch WIE Affinity Group\, successfully organized a webinar titled “Tec
 hnology for Society: Advancing Global Health Through Responsible Innovatio
 n” via Google Meet. The webinar aimed to highlight the importance of res
 ponsible technological innovation and its impact on advancing global healt
 hcare and improving society.\n\nThe program commenced with the inaugural s
 peech by Dr. M. Tanseer Ali\, Associate Professor and Head (Graduate Progr
 am)\, Department of EEE\, FE\, AIUB. He thanked the IEEE AIUB Student Bran
 ch and its collaborating affinity groups for organizing such an informativ
 e session and emphasized the importance of responsible innovation and glob
 al collaboration in addressing healthcare challenges. He then invited the 
 distinguished speaker of the session\, Dr. M Belal Hossain\, Assistant Pro
 fessor\, Hartwick College\, New York\, USA. The speaker began by introduci
 ng himself and sharing his academic and professional background. During th
 e webinar\, he discussed the role of responsible innovation in advancing g
 lobal health through emerging technologies. He highlighted the importance 
 of biomedical engineering\, artificial intelligence\, digital health and e
 thical technology development in solving real world healthcare challenges.
  He also shared practical insights from his research and encouraged studen
 ts to pursue impactful research that contributes to society.\n\nThe worksh
 op concluded with an interactive Q&amp;A session where the speaker addressed v
 arious queries from enthusiastic participants.\n\nFollowing the Q&amp;A sessio
 n\, Dr. Ali\, delivered the closing remarks by expressing his sincere grat
 itude to the speaker for the insightful session and to the IEEE AIUB Stude
 nt Branch for successfully organizing the webinar. He then presented a vir
 tual token of appreciation to the speaker in recognition of his valuable c
