DESCRIPTION:The PCB Design Workshop was conducted on 30th and 31st March 20
 26 at the Skill Lab\, K.S. School of Engineering and Management (KSSEM) by
  the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in associatio
 n with the IEEE CEDA Student Chapter. The workshop was delivered by Mr. Ra
 jesh Sudi\, Senior Embedded Engineer at Tenxer Labs India Pvt. Ltd. and an
  IEEE Senior Member. The program aimed to provide students with practical 
 exposure to Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design\, layout\, and fabrication 
 processes.\n\nThe workshop was designed to bridge the gap between theoreti
 cal electronics concepts and real-world hardware implementation by introdu
 cing participants to the complete PCB development cycle\, from schematic d
 esign to fabrication. It also emphasized industry-relevant practices in PC
 B design\, including layout optimization\, routing techniques\, and hardwa
 re prototyping.\n\nThe program was conducted over two days\, combining con
 ceptual understanding with hands-on training.\n\nDay 1\n\nDay 1 focused on
  the fundamentals of PCB design and development. The resource person expla
 ined the complete PCB workflow\, including schematic capture\, component p
 lacement\, 2D and 3D PCB layout design\, and routing techniques. Students 
 were introduced to PCB design tools and their applications in electronic c
 ircuit development. The session also highlighted the importance of proper 
 component placement\, signal flow management\, spacing considerations\, an
 d layout optimization to ensure efficient and reliable circuit performance
 . Visualization of PCB structures using 2D and 3D models helped students u
 nderstand real-world board implementation.\n\nDay 2\n\nDay 2 was dedicated
  to hands-on PCB fabrication. Students were guided through the process of 
 transferring PCB layouts onto copper-clad boards followed by the ferric ch
 loride etching process to remove unwanted copper and form circuit traces. 
 The practical session provided exposure to PCB manufacturing techniques an
 d helped students understand the physical realization of circuit designs. 
 Safety practices and proper handling procedures were also emphasized durin
 g fabrication activities. Students gained valuable insight into hardware p
 rototyping and the precision required in PCB manufacturing processes.\n\nO
 verall\, the workshop provided participants with practical knowledge of PC
 B design and fabrication\, enhancing their technical skills in electronics
  hardware development and strengthening their understanding of real-world
