DESCRIPTION:[]\n\nEvent Description\n\nIntroduction to Robotics is an engag
 ing educational workshop designed to introduce children to the fundamental
 s of robotics\, electronics\, and embedded systems through interactive and
  hands-on learning experiences. The workshop provides participants with an
  opportunity to explore how robots perceive and interact with their enviro
 nment using sensors\, electronic components\, and programmable devices. By
  combining theoretical concepts with practical demonstrations\, the sessio
 n encourages curiosity\, creativity\, critical thinking\, and problem-solv
 ing while highlighting the role of engineering and technology in addressin
 g real-world challenges.\n\nActivity Description\n\nThe session began with
  an integration activity that encouraged participants to collaborate and c
 ommunicate effectively in small groups. This was followed by a brief revie
 w of the electronic circuit developed during the previous workshop\, reinf
 orcing the fundamental concepts of circuit design and component connection
 s.\n\nParticipants then assembled a new electronic circuit using a micro b
 oard\, an LED display\, and an infrared sensor. After building the circuit
 \, they explored how each component functioned and interacted within the s
 ystem through guided experimentation. The program was subsequently uploade
 d to an ESP32 development board\, allowing participants to perform real-li
 fe testing and observe the circuit operating in a practical environment. T
 his hands-on experience enabled children to better understand the relation
 ship between hardware\, programming\, and system functionality while stren
 gthening their teamwork and problem-solving skills.\n\nThe workshop conclu
 ded with an introductory chess session\, where participants learned the ba
 sic rules\, the movement of the different pieces\, and fundamental strateg
 ies of the game. This activity promoted logical thinking\, concentration\,
