DESCRIPTION:Lab2Life is a STEM outreach and experiential learning initiativ
 e designed to bridge the gap between\nlaboratory concepts and real-life ap
 plications. The project aims to help students understand how\nfundamental 
 principles of science\, electrical engineering\, and technology learned in
  classrooms and\nlaboratories are directly applied to solve everyday probl
 ems and societal challenges.\nDespite strong theoretical and laboratory ex
 posure\, many students struggle to connect experiments\nwith their practic
 al relevance. Lab2Life addresses this gap by transforming conventional lab
 \nexperiments into application-driven demonstrations\, hands-on activities
 \, and mini-projects that mirror\nreal-world use cases such as energy effi
 ciency\, smart systems\, safety devices\, and sustainability\nsolutions. T
 hrough interactive sessions\, students explore how concepts like Ohm’s l
 aw power\nhousehold electronics\, sensors enable automation\, mathematics 
 supports decision-making\, and\nengineering design leads to impactful inno
 vations.\nThe project includes live demonstrations\, design challenges\, p
 roject showcases\, and career guidance\nsessions\, encouraging inquiry-bas
 ed learning\, teamwork\, and problem-solving skills. Special\nemphasis is 
 placed on low-cost\, sustainable\, and socially relevant solutions\, align
 ing the initiative with\nglobal Sustainable Development Goals such as Qual
 ity Education\, Clean Energy\, and Industry &amp;\nInnovation.\nBackground and
  Need:\nSTEM education has traditionally emphasized theoretical knowledge 
 and prescribed experiments\,\noften limiting students’ ability to visual
 ize their practical significance. Recent educational frameworks\nand accre
 ditation bodies stress the importance of experiential learning\, interdisc
 iplinary thinking\, and\nindustry relevance. Lab2Life builds on this evolv
 ing pedagogy by contextualizing laboratory learning\nwithin real-life scen
 arios\, making STEM education more engaging and meaningful.\nThe project a
 lso draws inspiration from successful STEM outreach programs and IEEE/WIE 
 initiatives\nthat promote innovation\, inclusivity\, and hands-on learning
