 : RoboSub 2026 Overview\n\nThe Miramar College Engineering Club just compe
 ted in its first year of the RoboSub competition. This competition tasks s
 tudents from around the world with creating Autonomous Underwater Vehicles
  (AUVs) with the goal of completing a series of increasingly difficult tas
 ks and claiming the title of RoboSub 2026 Champion.\n\nThis talk will give
  an overview of the team’s trials\, tribulations\, innovative fixes\, sp
 ectacular… let’s call them missteps\, and great connections formed ove
 r the past year.\n\nIn addition\, we will have Leverett Bezanson\, Chair o
 f the Marine Technology Society (MTS)\, present information about their la
 st cycle of internships including some details about the projects that the
 y worked on.\n***\n\nWelcome to the monthly event for the IEEE Oceanic Eng
 ineering Society (OES)\, San Diego Chapter\, which is hosting this meeting
  jointly along with TMA BlueTech (The Maritime Alliance)\, and MTS (Marine
  Technology Society).\n\nPlease join us for the main presentation and also
  plenty of time for networking and friendly conversation about everything 
 oceanic\, engineering\, science\, Blue Tech\, and more. No need to be an I
 EEE or OES member\, or TMA\, or MTS. Everyone is invited.\n\nThis month\, 
 we will be at Quantum Brewing again\, a cool science-themed brewery founde
 d by a biochemist.\n\nNo ticket required\, but please order something for 
 yourself from the brewery.\n\nPlease grab a bite from a nearby restaurant\
 , which is okay to bring into the brewery per the owner.\n\nThe food and d
