 d the Entrepreneurship Development Cell\, SMVITM\, jointly organized an En
 trepreneurship Awareness Session titled &quot;Freshers to Venture&quot; on Tuesday\,
  28 July 2026\, at institute premises. The session was conducted for stude
 nts interested in entrepreneurship\, innovation\, and startup development.
 \n\nThe resource person for the session was Dr. Jyoti Bhat\, Co-Founder of
  NextScale Tech Pvt. Ltd.\, Bengaluru\, and Adjunct Professor at IIM Benga
 luru. Drawing from her extensive entrepreneurial and academic experience\,
  she delivered an engaging and insightful session on the entrepreneurial m
 indset and startup ecosystem.\n\nDuring the session\, Dr. Jyoti Bhat highl
 ighted how the knowledge and skills acquired during a B.E./B.Tech. program
  provide a strong foundation for entrepreneurial thinking. She introduced 
 students to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship\, dispelled common myths 
 surrounding startups\, and emphasized the importance of identifying real-w
 orld problems that can be transformed into viable business opportunities. 
 The session also covered key concepts such as problem–solution fit\, mar
 ket fit\, and product validation through practical frameworks and real-wor
 ld case studies. Participants were encouraged to think creatively\, develo
 p an innovation-driven mindset\, and explore entrepreneurship as a promisi
 ng career path.\n\nThe interactive session inspired students to view engin
 eering education beyond academics and recognize its potential in creating 
 innovative products and impactful ventures. The program successfully motiv
 ated aspiring entrepreneurs to translate their ideas into meaningful solut
