We believe that robots truly demonstrate their value in environments where humans cannot enter\, such as those affected by ear thquakes\, floods\, and nuclear disasters. Based on this conviction\, we a re actively promoting the research and development of harsh-environment ro bot and drone systems that combine physical AI\, swarm control\, remote op eration\, and high-mobility and high-durability technologies. At this\nsym posium\, we will invite leading researchers in the field of robotics from around the world to discuss cutting-edge technologies in harsh-environment robotics for disaster response and their future prospects.\n\nThis sympos ium aims to serve as a forum for candid exchanges between F-REI researcher s and students\, researchers\, postdocs\, engineers\, and practitioners fr om Japan and abroad.
