DESCRIPTION:A beginner-focused\, one-hour hands-on session introducing stud
ents to MATLAB Simulink — a block-diagram based simulation environment w
idely used for modeling\, simulating\, and analyzing dynamic systems in co
ntrol\, power electronics\, signal processing\, and embedded systems. This
session is designed for students with zero prior Simulink experience. By
the end of the hour\, attendees will have installed Simulink\, explored it
s key toolboxes/libraries\, built two simple models from scratch\, and und
erstood how Simulink scales up to real project-level work through a walkth
rough of an existing mid-level project. The session closes with open Q&A a
nd a list of beginner project ideas attendees can try on their own.\nTarge
t audience: First and second-year engineering students (especially EEE/ECE
/Mech) with no prior exposure to Simulink.\nPrerequisites: Laptop with MAT
LAB installed (or willingness to install during session)\, basic familiari
ty with block diagrams/system concepts is helpful but not mandatory.\n\nVi
