DESCRIPTION:We are collaborating with local filmmakers to present Womanhood
 : The Series\, Season 2. These short comedy films are designed to ignite c
 onversation and change so that women in STEM have a better\, more acceptin
 g and encouraging workplace. Our tagline: Sure the line for the bathroom i
 s shorter\, but women want a seat at the table.\n\nThe showing would consi
 st of screening three of the &quot;episodes&quot; (each film is 7-12 minutes long) e
 xploring cultural attitudes and biases that hinder women&#39;s advancement in 
 STEM fields.\n\nUsing comedy to highlight social injustices and biases\, t
 his project offers a unique storytelling approach that has already proven 
 impactful. Season 1 received eight awards and over 55 international film f
 estival acceptances\, demonstrating that audiences want to see high-qualit
 y content with female leads and stories about women.\n\nThis groundbreakin
 g project fosters collaboration between two traditionally separate fields
 —filmmaking and STEM—bringing filmmakers and STEM professionals togeth
 er to tell stories that help dismantle structural barriers in STEM careers
 . By working side-by-side\, we aim to generate fresh perspectives and prom
 ote inclusive representation of women in science and technology.\n\nDoor o
